A mom and pop to-go place that makes tasty fresh sushi. I’ve only had the shrimp tempura roll the 2 times I have gone, but it’s fantastic and I only recently discovered this place. Looking forward to trying more. The owners are super nice also, give this place a try.

got the homemade spicy cucumbers, 2 rolls and chicken katsu bento box for a very decent price and the quality was AMAZING. the service was excellent as well she checked on us and was very nice and polite. very happy with my boyfriend and i’s decision to come here for lunch. will be back very soon!

This place has some of the best sushi in the area. It is always super fresh and top quality. The rolls are very nice and friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

This place is legit! I was looking for an AYCE place around here but couldn't find one... This placed seemed to be higher quality from what I could gather, so I rolled the dice and checked it out. 100% definitely give it a try! Reminds me of an authentic sushi shop, street side in Japan. Super clean Fresh fish No price gouging Fast Service Simple is best. Will definitely be back tomorrow, and in the future! Thanks for the delicious meal! (Lunch items flying off shelves is a great sign at 12:30pm)

Fantastic, food, service and atmosphere!! Definitely 5 stars! We had the citrus Fresh and the Frank Sinatra.... DELISH!!!

This place is literally its name… “On the Run” It’s specifically take out. But there is a small bar off to the side that seats about 4 people, but mostly seems to be used as a waiting area for customers picking up. But the sushi is very good. Fresh and tasty, the rice is tender and stands up well to the ingredients. It’s mostly rolls and nigiri, but they have beef or chicken teriyaki rice bowls and bento boxes. The standards edamame, miso soup and green salad to accommodate also. If I lived in the area this would be a weekly stop on the way home for sure.

I’m not going to lie. I was hesitant when I saw that this place was in a shopping center. I thought “how good could this be?!” Well, it’s beyond delicious. It humbled me into not judging places based on anything besides the quality of their food. And their sushi is quality. The people running the place are sweet, friendly and very helpful. Please don’t pass this place by.

Review: Sushi on the Run, Rancho Mirage Don’t let the name fool you—this small spot is run by a husband-and-wife team who used to live in the Bay Area, and their food is anything but rushed. The portions are incredibly generous, especially their bentos, which are huge and packed with the freshest ingredients. Their salmon kam Easily one of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Seating is limited along the wall, but the care and love they put into every dish make it worth it. If you’re in Rancho Mirage, this place is a must-try!
